Dorothy

027 033 038 040 042 I made this Oz hanging for my Mommy. The Wizard of Oz is our favorite! The legs are a blown up image that originated from one of Jackie’s classes. I’ll add a couple of finishing touches before I give it to her.IMG_0026 IMG_0046 IMG_0048 Since I’m on the theme, I thought I’d post our pictures from Halloween last year of my little lion and me as Dorothy. I finally got my ruby red slippers! (I’ve put them on just for smiles since Halloween but don’t tell anyone :).

Class Projects & “Haunted” House

003I was singing the song the whole time I was making this card :) Just thought I’d randomly share that…

023 I made these tags in Lisa’s class at My Heart’s Fancy a couple of weeks ago. I learned so much and was so inspired I went home and started on some more!

Not quite finished but I’m so excited about my first “Haunted” house I had to put it up! It didn’t turn out like I had pictured in my head but I think it’s ok for my first shot!

077This is the mermaid box I made in Franc’s class at Paper Crown last week. I added the three ATCs from the recent Alpha Stamps summer swap. I love them and can’t help but smile every time I look at my beautiful summer swimmers box!

A few things…

A few cards I've made lately and my first attempt at tea-dyed tags. The tags were white to begin with, which worked well for the darker teas, but the herbal purple needs a little more depth.

Hot Springs

Objects from our Arkansas journey. It was quite the trip - with a 3 hour drive from Edmond to Norman in the pouring rain to p/u my Mom. Apparently my neighborhood flooded while I was gone, but my house was luckily not among those destroyed by the flash flooding of Chisholm Creek!
